The Piranhas House League is designed for players who want to enjoy the game in a fun, competitive environment. Teams practice at UTC Ice and compete in weekend games across San Diego County. 

This program is built for committed players ready for structured team play. When you register, you commit to the full season to ensure roster stability and team development.

Season runs September 8th, 2026 – February 28th, 2027.

 

8U Mite (born 2018 and younger) 9/11: 5:05pm-6:00pm
10U Squirt (born ’16-’17)  9/11: 4:10pm-5:05pm
12U Peewee (born ’14-’15) 9/8: 5:50pm-6:45pm

First scrimmages will be Sunday 9/13!

How old do players have to be to join Piranhas House Hockey?

About:

Nick directs the UTC Piranhas with a development-first approach rooted in years of coaching across multiple levels, including the San Diego Saints and La Jolla Country Day. A Level 4 USA Hockey Coach and former AAA, juniors, and collegiate player, Nick brings a deep understanding of skill progression and team culture. Since joining UTC Ice in 2021, Nick has helped shape a program where athletes are challenged, supported, and excited to grow, whether pursuing competitive hockey or building lifelong confidence on the ice.
